Security is BroCon
BroCon ’16 offers the Bro community a chance to meet face-to-face, share new ideas, and better understand and secure our networks. The conference is composed of presentations from members of the community and the Bro Development team.
Location and Dates
BroCon ’16 will occur on Tuesday, September 13th — Thursday, September 15th, at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (map) in Austin, Texas.

Registration
Registration to BroCon is closed.
Refunds
Full refunds, less a $30 processing fee, will be issued up to 50 days after registration. Unfortunately we are unable to issue any refunds beyond 50 days after a registration. Four weeks prior to the start date of the conference, we will be unable to offer any refunds.

Hotel Information
We have reserved a block of rooms Monday the 12th - Wednesday the 14th at the Lone Star Court hotel for the rate of $199/night plus tax (select code "Group/Block", enter 1609BROCON to receive the rate). This rate includes complimentary Internet access and continental breakfast buffet. The reserved block expires August 22nd. Attendees affiliated with government organizations should confirm whether they are eligible for a discount before booking in case the government rate is lower than our negotiated rate.

Transportation Information
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is located approximately 30 miles southeast of the TACC facility.
Parking
The TACC facility has parking available for visitors with a valid pass. Passes are available for $3/day at the parking kiosk directly across from TACC, on Exploration Way. TACC and The BroCon Events Team are not responsible for parking violations.
Code of Conduct
BroCon ’16 is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference, without a refund, at the discretion of the conference organizers.
