We are happy to announce that we will continue Bro4Pros, our one day workshop for advanced Bro users. Going beyond the introductory level of our regular BroCons, this workshop aims at users who are already using Bro on a daily basis, feel comfortable customizing its configuration, and have written a few scripts of their own already. The event will consist mainly of interactive live demos and practical talks. To ensure an interactive and productive atmosphere this workshop has a limited number of participants. There is no registration fee but we are limiting attendance on a first-come first-served basis. We will have a few slots for external presentations. We are looking for practical talks and demos on advanced topics that help experienced Bro users make even more of their setup. For more information please refer to the Call for Presentations section.
We thank our host Mozilla.
We are also happy to announce that GitHub will add food and drinks to our event. Thank you GitHub.

If you need further help please contact us via info@bro.org.
The workshop will take place at Mozilla’s San Francisco office. We recommend attendees commute by train if possible as parking may be scarce and expensive. The BART station Embarcadero is very close by. If you need to travel by car, parking may be available at Hills Plaza Garage, or Portside GarageCentral. A lot of other parking lots and garages nearby can be found via Google Maps.
We have a few slots available for presentations. If you would like to propose a talk or demo, please send the following to info@bro.org:
- Title.
- Abstract: summarize the topic you want to present and what form your presentation will have.
- Give us some information about yourself and the setting in which you use Bro.
Deadline is February 14th, 2016.
Every presentation is limited to 45 minutes including questions and discussion. Feel free to reach out to us if you have questions.
If we have more submissions than slots we will let the Bro Leadership Team select the presentations for Bro4Pros.
